An Aluminium Core

Most people think that by buying an expensive cookware, you get long lasting and premium cooking experience. You have to know that by having aluminium as it’s core, the pots and pans will be heavier. This is good as you don’t want to be using a cookware than can easily fall off the gas stove. Aluminium also helps heat the entire pan faster.

18/10 Stainless Steel

You will usually find the grade type 18/10 stainless steel stamped on the pots and pans. This grade type makes the stainless steel pots and pans much more durable and less likely to rust in the near future. Look for stainless steel handles as well. They will balance the cookware and you will feel more confident carrying and sautéing them. Never purchase a cookware that has plastic handles.

A great addition to your kitchen will definitely be this sauce-pot. If you’re a busy working women, a new mother or a full-time student, you will benefit from purchasing this 3-quart sauce-pot which is below 25 dollars. You don’t need to purchase a full stainless steel cookware set to feel confident in your kitchen. A good frying pan and a steamer would complete your kitchen especially if the place you’re living always has cold weather. After reading a stainless steel cookware reviews, I managed to get my own stainless steel steamer.

Faberware Sauce-pot and Steamer

Having a steamer in your home will enhance your cooking experience. You can steam dumplings, vegetables, Chinese steamed buns and even chicken. You can wrap your fish or chicken in a foil and season them to add flavouring.

This will store in all the flavours as the stainless steel pot comes with a tight fitting lid. The rim of the pot has been customise to help you safely pour your broth or pasta sauce in your desired bowl. If your recipes requires the pot to be put in the oven, it can be exposed up to 350˚F. Since stainless steel is not a good heating material, having aluminium as it’s core is definitely a plus point. You can also ditch them in the dishwasher if you’re feeling lazy. For the price and the lifetime warranty Faberware has given, I don’t see the harm in buying this cookware.

My stay at home mother as well as my working sister who is also a mom have advised me to switch from cast iron cookware to stainless steel cookware. They were concern of my family’s health as well as the quality of my dishes. Of course it is a hassle to constantly season the pan for preservation of the pan’s quality, I find that iron cookware heats up evenly.

After a few weeks of abandoning my iron cookware, I notice that it had started to rust and I was worried that my dishes would contain harmful Iron substance. Other than my family members, I sought out my friends from my book club and asked their opinion. Of course, their feedback were to purchase none other than stainless steel cookware.  Read: Stainless steel cookware reviews.

Few Great Characteristics

I had gotten myself the Cuisinart MultiClad Pro 12 Pieces for below 240 dollars. It’s a great price considering they’re multiclad and they come with tight stainless steel covers. The multiclad cookware are known to be very durable and can endure various cooking style. Their lids are also a bonus point because they trap the flavours of the dish.

They’re heavy enough to stay on the stove as I stir ingredients. Just remember to coat the pan with a thin layer of oil and always preheat the man on medium heat. Thankfully they have no coatings on the interior that might be harmful and their stainless steel handles have stayed cool all the time.
